Data Management

Data on hand on demand

Ensure data availability when you need it and for whatever the purpose

NeuString has developed the Data Management service which enables mobile telecommunication providers to have multiple data types (XDRs) stored for multiple years and being available in multiple ways on a Data as a Service (DaaS) model. Having data on hand on demand is extremely important in optimizing your business, however, in many cases all data is not stored properly or stored at all, imposing major issues with quality assurance, and hence limiting use of the data. As a result focus shifts from having access to what ever and when ever, to figting various data issues. With NeuString's Data Management service reliability and accessibility is ensured.

Specifically, NeuString receives the historic data on batch form and the ongoing data on live stream form. The data is subsequently stored on dedicated servers. When the telecommunications provider has a request for data, the on-line DaaS interface enables fetching:

  • Individual data transactions
  • Specific subscribers' data
  • Time periods of data
  • Certain service types' data
  • Combinations of selection criteria
  • All the data

NeuString is assisting leading telecommunications providers worldwide with storing all their roaming data for more than 3 years. The mobile operator’s reasons for utilizing the Data Management service are many.

Among these are that they have previously had to wait for 4 months or more to have data delivered from their data clearing house or internal Data Warehouse and upon obtaining the data they discovered that the quality was insufficient as there were data missing, data holes, data inconsistencies, etc. Other reasons have been compliance with government telecom regulations and fraud/terror requests from local police or Interpol.
